Red Hot Press was set up in 2004 and has become an established part of Southampton’s art community.
The Workshop is fully equipped for intaglio and relief printing.
We run a full programme of courses throughout the year in both traditional and new, innovative printmaking techniques which, because of our small class sizes, are suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced printmakers who want to learn a new technique.
We run a membership scheme for those who wish to use the studio to produce their own work. Members benefit from entry into our regular exhibitions, opportunities to partake in projects and exchanges, discount at local art shops and also with Hawthorn Printmaking Supplies and also the chance to meet and network with other printmakers in the South.
