All prices are inclusive of VAT.

Studio Inductions

Studio inductions take place on a Saturday at or near the beginning of each month, for 1.5 hours. You can choose to do the induction in screenprinting or etching, both of which will give you a good understanding of the studio. You need to show a small portfolio of work to support your application for membership before the induction. You need to be competent in at least one area of printmaking to become a member.

Etching/relief induction 12-1.30 pm

Membership

Artists may choose from a variety of memberships which allow for flexible access and membership rates.

Keyholder

Suitable only for experienced printmakers. This membership bracket provides the artist with 24 hour access to the print studio.

£47 per month by standing order or  1 year (1 month free) £517

Minimum membership of 6 months

Standard

Suitable for less experienced artists who may require technical assistance. Access during technician’s hours, 2 days per week.
Cost £36 a month by standing order

Associate

Suitable for less experienced artists who may require technical assistance. Access during technician’s hours, 2 days per week.
Cost £12 a month plus £5 session fee

Affiliate

Exhibit with us, come to our events & have discounts on courses and workshops. No studio access. This membership suits those who have their own studios or facilities but wish to be affiliated to us.

Cost £6.50 per month

Artspace

This membership only applies to studio holders within Spike Island. Access during opening hours and with prior agreement
Cost £26 per month

Student

September to June membership for current students and new graduates. Tuesdays or Thursdays during technician hours.
Cost £22 per month.

UWE MA Student

Access during holidays with prior arrangement.
Cost £12 per month.

Casual

By arrangement
Cost £7.50 per hour
