What a successful launch!
On Friday 7th December, over 700 people came to the opening of our two exhibitions. One of the highlights of the evening was the People of Note choir. Around 70 people came to sing 5 numbers in the amazing gallery space, holding people spellbound. All thanks to Maita Robinson who had suggested asking the choir - this is what she said about it afterwards:
I am thrilled that People of Note were able to make a contribution to the evening’s success. It was a glorious space to sing in and the choir really loved doing it. All very special as it was a real Bristol event.
I gave a speech, in which I thanked many people, and we presented Peter with a magnolia as a thank you for being ‘him’. We are on a way to having a sell-out Peter Reddick show, with lots of red dots everywhere - an exciting time!
