Rabley Contemporary Drawing Centre aims to promote the role of ‘drawing today’ through exhibitions, artists projects and its education studios. Its inspirational rural location in converted Victorian barns on the Ainslie family farm near Marlborough, Wiltshire lures artists, students and visitors to this unique creative hub.

Founded in 2005, director Meryl Ainslie describes Rabley as “the centre of everything in the middle of nowhere!” A farmhouse for the 21st century is also currently under construction adjacent to the gallery. This ‘Grand Design’ is another synergy of this spectacular rural environment and the creative ethos that drives it.

Many of the drawings and prints in this exhibition are for sale.

How to get there

Transport To Rabley Contemporary Drawing Centre

BY CAR:
Marlborough is 10 miles south of the M4
Leave the M4 at Junction 15. Take the A346 to Marlborough. Coming into the town you descend a hill (Herd St.) Turn left at The Green into St. Martins (signed for Ramsbury, Axford, Mildenhall) - if you get to the roundabout at the bottom you have come too far! Take this road out of Marlborough and just after the edge of the town you will see some white railings. Turn left after the railings, go under the railway bridge and continue for nearly a mile. Rabley Contemporary Drawing Centre is on your right opposite two red brick cottages. The car park is at the bottom of the drive by the centre
