how to join the studio

Artists may choose from a variety of memberships which allow for flexible access and membership rates. We also run a Friends scheme that supports our work and that of the members who work here.

PLEASE NOTE: due to a sharp increase in new members using the screenprinting facilities, we are freezing membership from 19 May 2008 until 1st September 2008 for those wishing to use the screen area. We have begun a waiting list which you can join - please ring 0117 9290135 for more details.

All potential new members wanting to use the etching area can still join.

To join, give us a ring on 0117 9290135. Irena Czapska is the Studio Administrator who deals with membership queries - she currently works on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

You need to attend an induction in order to become a member. These take place on the first and second Wednesday of each month, 6-7.30pm. We also run introductory courses on Saturdays.

  • Screenprinting Induction - first Wednesday of each month
  • Etching Induction - second Wednesday of each month

It costs £15 and booking is essential.
