Studio Induction - from now until beg of Sept 08
You need to attend an induction in order to become a member. These take place on the first Wednesday of each month from 6-7.30 pm. We also run introductory courses on Saturdays covering the basics of screenprinting, etching, collograph and linocutting. You need to have spent two sessions working in the Studio with a technician or workshop leader present in order to be issued with keys.

Studio Inductions from beg of Sept 08
From September, the inductions will take place on a Saturday at or near the beginning of each month, for three hours. You can choose to do the induction in screenprinting or etching, both of which will give you a good understanding of the studio. Please bring examples of your work on the day.

Membership
Artists may choose from a variety of memberships which allow for flexible access and membership rates.
Full membership (key-holder)
Suitable for experienced printmakers. This membership bracket provides the artist with access to the print workshops three days a week.
Cost: £40 per month by standing order only - £440 a year if paid upfront (one month free)
Standard Member
Suitable for less experienced artists who may require technical assistance. Access during technician’s hours (currently Tues 1-9pm, Wed 10-6 and Thurs 10-6 ) or with experienced keyholder.
Cost: £30 a month by standing order or £40 per calendar month
Artspace Member
This membership only applies to studio holders within Spike Island. Access during technician’s hours (currently Mon, Tues and Fridays) £22.00 per month (additional days at £5.00 per day)
Associate Membership
This arrangement is suitable for those who have facilities elsewhere but wish to enjoy the benefits of being affiliated with Spike Print Studio, for example you may hold work in the Spike Print Studio portfolio and you are invited to submit work for any exhibition opportunities.
Access to facilities during technician’s hours (currently Mon, Tues and Fridays)
Cost: £6.50 a month or £5.50 pm if paying by standing order PLUS £2.50 per hour studio use
Student
Three days a week access during technician hours - materials to be paid for on a daily basis.
Cost: £18 per month.
Casual Rate
Cost: £6.50 per hour, by arrangement
