This community project supported by Quartet Community Foundation which began in 2020 with the purpose of continuing the work we were doing with refugees and asylum seekers and young people' programmes whilst the studio is closed during lockdown. It provided printing packs to use in the home or in community settings and a series of demonstration videos.

This wonderful project concluded in March 2022 with an exhibition of the communities involved at The Vestibules Gallery, City Hall Bristol.  We were grateful and lucky to have had artists Anna Haydock-Wilson and Amy Hutchings running the project with skill, compassion and artistic flexibility.

Mobile Print Project funding came in July 2021 - We were delighted to announce that we had been awarded Originators Funding by Bristol City Council City Arts Team so we could continue offering printmaking workshops to vulnerable communities across Bristol.

As with our Home Print Project this fund enabled us to support arts activities for young carers and refugee groups and families. These activities ran in partnership with Carers Support Centre, Borderlands, Refugee Women of Bristol, Imayla and other organisations supporting people in need. Anna & Amy cycled around taking quality print making materials into community settings and delivering tailor made workshops in a variety of printmaking techniques. We provided Zoom workshops to young carers, mentor community facilitators and provided exhibition opportunities.

It was important that we (SPS) could continue to work with our communities until we could safely welcome them back into the studio. This project maintained strong links with them and providing resources and support until they could come back in the studio.

SPS would like to thank Anna Haydock-Wilson and Amy Hutchings for delivering this wonderful project and making print accessible even when the studio was in lockdown.

We sought wisdom from organisations and individuals to make these packs as accessible as possible for Young Carers and Refugees and we would like to thank:
