5 week Reduction Screenprint

Join Gail on this 5-week course to explore the world of screen reduction - a process that can give you complex layers of screen imagery without the need of an exposure unit.

Building marks with water based material onto an open mesh,  and  subsequent printing of registered layers can help you achieve a painterly edition. Works can be printed in any colour.

A photographic hand drawn transparency can be added as a final addition.

This process is akin to a reduction linocut,  it can be used in a home studio set up if you have access to a pressure washer.
