3 Fridays mornings in October

Meet at the entrance to Spike Island Artspace at 10.00am, take a short walk to each week’s destination and then draw from observation - inspired by our brilliant city.

Bring your favourite materials and a hardback sketch book. I’ll bring materials and stools.

Ideal for anyone from beginners to experienced draughts people looking for company. We will start with quick, strategic warm up exercises and then progress to a longer, more involved drawing, experimenting with scale, composition and materials along the way.

Drawing is such a great way to slow yourself down and really look, it’s an ancient and impulsive act - join me to stretch and invigorate your skills.
