We are delighted to offer this fascinating course run by Helen Boden of Bodenpress. Helen is returning after an extremely successful workshop last year, making this a rare opportunity to investigate colour mixing in a methodical and analytical way.

What to Expect

During the day you will mix inks to construct your own colour charts that demonstrate how seven core colours can produce all the colours you need. This includes secondary and complementary colours, plus browns, greens, violets, ochres, greys and blacks.

You will:

Take home an invaluable reference for obtaining and replicating accurate hues - colour charts that you will return to again and again.

Increase your confidence in mixing colours (no more mud!)

Be inspired by new colour palettes and learn to mix more complex colours

Explore the full potential of the inks you already have so you don’t need to buy more

Who is it for?

Suitable for all artists, illustrators, designers and makers.
No previous experience is required and all materials are provided.

About Helen Boden

Helen is an experienced printmaker working across a range of techniques and has been creating prints for over 30 years. She holds a Fine Art degree and a Masters in Printmaking from Chelsea School of Art.

In 2008 she founded Boden Press. Now based in Tring, Hertfordshire, she offers a fully equipped printmaking studio for both established and emerging printmakers.
